As you might noticed I am a big fan of recycling. There are so many reasons to be a recycling fan, I would like to point out only one. Sustainability, a word which you might have heared uncountable times, but have you thought in detail what it means and further more, how can I implement it in my life on a every day basis. So, let's do what modern girls do and check it on wikipedia- in ecology, I read, sustainability describes how biological systems remain diverse and productive over time. Well, it is not untrue, but a bit more true is to say- sustainability is how regenerative systems remain regenerative (to expand it to human behaviour, sustainability is to act and use resources in a regenaritive system without changing its regenerative properties). A biological system is achieving that by using every little residual of energy to develop something new- and the circle begins again...
Exactly, every little leftover should be exploited.
If you are a DIY friend, you surely have come upon a self made calender on a white board like this one. I have one but the board marker was always missing. Now, it is always in the right spot ;) I used the leftovers of the leftovers for the jeans bangle and two magnets, voilà. Mission recycling completed.
What do you recycle at home?
Small things, jewelry, presents- I love to make them by myself and to share it ;) Enjoy!

jeans bangle
Do you remeber the boyfriend's jeans post? Yesterday I came upon the remains of those pant legs ;)
and I had the idea to make a bangle out of it. so, I cut it to the right length..
and attached those kind of button to the ends.
The result :)
I love it!

Quinoa stuffed pepper
I know, this blog is found to be on diy, but what is more diy and creative than food, especially when you cook it with pleasure and joy and enjoy it afterwards. So, I decided to put a new category about healthy and real cooking.
Let's start with a modern version of a stuffed pepper.
Meet quinoa:
It is better to wash it before using.
Stew onions and carrots for 10 minutes.
Add the quinoa, salt and pepper, basil and mint, and some nutmeg. After cooking it further 10 minutes, the filling is ready. The water should be fully evaporated.
Stuff the pepper with the fillung. Bake it for 45 minutes with some water and oil. When the meal is ready, iot should like on this pic. You can serve it with yoghurt - Enjoy!

Painting for non-painters
Hey everyone,
this post might not seem to you creative, but in the end you have a very personal present for a friend.
You need all of these
to create this one :)
To make it more personal, just write on it with the same colour the friend's name, a dedication or a
birthday wish, whatever you want ...
Enjoy!
